"The building has a very colorful history. It was built in 1898 as an open air dance hall and has served as a National Guard Armory as well as a church house."[10]
Also, in an article from the Bear River Heritage Area, the rink was previously called "The Thatcher Amusement Hall or The Bowery".[8]
Renovations began early in 2014 for the building to be used as a banquet hall.[12]
Later in 2014, the roller rink was the "Logan Haunted House" for halloween.[13]

Tax photo of the Thatcher Amusement Hall as it appeared circa 1927.[11]

One of the Roller Rhapsodies teams, with the interior of the Roller Rink
visible behind them. Date unknown.[11]
(In the 1964 ad below it mentions 15th annual presentation,
so it appears they started in 1949.)

Crews are renovating the interior and exterior of the building in 2014.[12]
